I’m writing this on my iPhone
The Tumble app for the iPhone is pretty cool. It’s a nice way to quickly and easily add things to your Tumblelog.
It seems to support HTML tags but they are so laborious to input on the phone. It does allow for quick uploading of photos or screenshots you’ve taken on the device.
A couple of bad aspects… You can’t edit existing posts nor can you resume a work-in-progress. For instance, let’s say you’re typing away in Tumble and your phone rings. You’ve just lost your work as you can’t pick up where you left off before the call.
I really wished the iPhone supported copy and paste so you could attach links found in Safari. (Emailing the link to your Tumblr address might be a work around.)
Once they get these things addressed, it’ll be a nice little program. On the other hand, you can’t complain about the price — free.
