My best friend from childhood, who now thinks I’m possessed, thinks Obama is the Antichrist and Palin is some kind of prophet…. *really*.
He kept sending me “evidence” about Obama’s evil origins and intentions and finally last week I just sent him a bunch of Snopes links and told him I’m worried about him and think he’s been co-opted by some kind of cult.
Problem is, it seems about half of America is being brainwashed by these idiots. The fundamentalist evangelical community really thinks they are living out a “Left Behind” novel.
It’s really sad.
